Johnathan Reynolds

Johnathan is a strength and conditioning professional with a background in applied exercise science,
Olympic weightlifting, and athlete development. He currently serves as President and Head Coach of the
University at Buffalo Weightlifting Club, where he leads programming for athletes ranging from complete
beginners to experienced competitors.
Johnathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and brings a disciplined, athlete first approach.
His coaching philosophy blends structured strength development with mentorship, accountability, and
long-term athlete growth. In addition to barbell sports, he has experience coaching and mentoring youth
athletes through U.S. Soccer affiliated programs, integrating physical preparation with leadership and
character development.
